so i just now found out that i am very allergic to wood stove pellets/ pine pellets which will be used for the litter. my throat tingled for a few mins (very mild i could barely tell the tingling was there. similar feeling if i were to eat a nut except wayyy more mild) and my chin broke out in red dots. NOT BUMPS. just dots. i touched one or two pellets and then went inside and scratched my chin cause it was itchy (my face is itchy in general so its nothing weird) and then i looked in the mirror and my chin had red dots! and i washed my hands quickly and it went away. i also "breathed" in the air that was in the bag of pine pellets cause i wanted to look if i was allergic or not i dont think i am allergic to the rabbit in general. because i've held lots of rabbits and i even put my face in one rabbits fur and breathed in. no reaction. but i am very allergic to timothy hay. so i am using bermuda which isnt toooo bad for my allergies. so my concerns are the pine pellets and... maybe the rabbit itself. you look, the rabbit will use the litter box. the "pine pellet" dust will stick to his feet so everytime i pet him/ let him run around i will have a BAD allergic reaction? and plus i hate having animal fur on my clothes. and the rabbit will be in my room so -___-... also my mom said no air filters! she doesnt like anything that has a filter, but then she sayd that if it doesnt have a filter then it wont do the job correctly. so really i have no option -_-. and yes the rabbit must be in my room.. for now anyway, maybe later i can put it somewhere else. help? could i take allergy medication daily? (my allergist said i had to anyway for around a month and i look her next month. and yes i did receive tested for allergies and blah) but after a while wouldnt the allergy medication not work as well? since my body would have been "used" to it? also which rabbits shed "less"? dutches or mini lops?thanks!

First of every I'm a vegetarian, the only condiment I'll eat is ketchup, I'll only eat vegetables raw (except for potatoes, but I'll only eat sweet potatoes), I don't like butter, salad dressing, french toast, waffles, I'll only eat eggs scrambled or difficult boiled, chinese food, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, walnuts, cream cheese, sour cream, hummus, toasted sandwiches, anything grilled, most cereal, most ice cream, any yogurt that isn't vanilla or trix, dried fruit, frozen fruit, french bread, every dark soda, tea, the only soup I like is tomato soup, and I HATE pine nuts. Also anything wild cherry or black cherry flavored because when I was really little, I had to take medicine that flavor, and it was so nasty that now when I odor to much of it or taste it, I honestly toss up. I eat pretty healthy foods I guess, nuts, tofu, grains, fruits, and veggies. But I also eat sweets and chips and stuff. I just hate being so picky! As long as something doesn't have animals in it, I'll try it, I don't mind new foods, so that isn't the problem. How do I cease being so picky?

I am into making pesto....and I have lots of basil, but pine-nuts are nice of pricey. I am going to make a lot of pesto and freeze it. I already checked e-bay and their pine-nut prices were similar to the supermarkets. I would prefer to use actual pinenuts if I can find a cheap place to receive them. Thanks!

My hummus contains 1g of saturated fat and 7g fat total (per 2 tablespoon size serving). It is made with Chick Peas and it topped with Pine Nuts (+Canola Oil). Is it still healthy? Also, is SOY milk healthier than regular non-fat milk? It too contains .5 saturated fat. Both state no cholesterol and no transfat. I am trying to avoid saturated fat as part of a low fat, high fiber diet but it seems to be everywhere. Also, which creamer is best? I was using one but it had hydrogenated oil in it so I stopped using it. THANKS!

A challenge for you: Create a vegan dish which only uses as its ingredients plants which are native to South, Central and North America, including the West Indies. Please be creative. Don't just copy from recipe books or websites. You've got plenty of scope - it can be an entrée, a salad, a soup, a main, a side or a dessert... or even a smoothie or a snack - it's up to you. There are a few ingredients, such as potatoes and tomatoes, which already have whole cookbooks devoted to them - so it you're going to include them, try to make them just minor ingredients. Plants native to the Americas include: Grains: amaranth, quinoa, maize (corn), teosinte, wild rice. Sweeteners: agave nectar, corn syrup, maple syrup, sweetleaf (stevia), carnauba. Spices and flavourings: chilli, paprika, cayenne, allspice (pimenta), vanilla, cacao (cocoa), achiote (annatto), angostura, bergamot, sassafras, sarsaparilla, yerba maté, coca leaf (j/k). Fruit: avocado, babaco, acerola cherry, tamarillo (tree tomato), feijoa, açaí, tomato, capsicum (bell pepper), blueberry, cranberry, barberry, hackberry, service-berry, thimbleberry, wineberry, prickly pear (nopales), guava, sapodilla, monstera, mamey sapote, white sapote (casimiroa), black sapote (black persimmon), American persimmon, canistel (eggfruit), abiu, soursop (guanabana), custard-apple (cherimoya), sweetsop (sugar-apple), pawpaw, papaya, cape gooseberry, tomate verde, tomatillo, chokecherry, capulin, coco-plum, granadilla, imbu, inga, jaboticaba, kamachile, mamoncillo, naranjilla, passionfruit, pepino, pineapple, choko (chayote). Nuts and seeds: pecan, hickory nut, Brazil nut, black walnut, pine nut, cashew, sunflower seed, monkey puzzle nut (piñones), peanut, sapucaia nut, pumpkin seed. Roots and tubers: potato, sweet potato (kumara, apichu), oca, maca, melloco (chiqua, ulloco, timbo), aracacha, cassava (tapioca), crinkleroot, Jerusalem artichoke, jicama (yam bean), Peruvian capucine (nasturtium), yampi, yautia (coco-yam), yacón. Various others: squash, pumpkin, buffalo gourd, green beans, kidney beans, runner beans, pokeweed (polk salad), arrowroot, camash, mastuerzo, nasturtium, sargasso-weed, tangle, dulse, Irish moss (carragheen). Oils: sunflower, avocado. You can also use salt, of course. Just reading through that list (which is far from complete - there are many lesser-known plants I left out to keep time and space), imagine what it would have been like to live in the Old World before Columbus' first voyage in 1492. No potatoes, tomatoes, chillies, peanuts, avocados, vanilla, chocolate (not that I eat that anyway), pineapples, etc. Italian cuisine would have been weird without the tomato, and the Irish without the potato, Moroccan and Thai without the chilli... So, what can you arrive up with? 10 points for the recipe (or recipes, if you want to try more than one) that really grabs my attention with originality or inventiveness or a really delicious sounding combination - bearing in mind that I don't eat cocoa/chocolate :P.

I have been dating a girl for about 4 months now and I'm starting to notice signs about her...like something may not be right. Let me backtrack. My girlfriend is 20 and already has a child. Now, that doesn't really bother me that she does I fell in adore with her personality, charm, wit, humor and the fact that we just seem to receive along on every level despite the fact that we don't always have the same likes and dislikes. At first things seemed sketchy and I either attributed it to her being a mom or the fact that she (as she told me) has been in some pretty terrible relationships in the past. Her nervousness and trust issues were difficult to break through for the longest time. I understood it and kept up with it because she finally got so comfortable with me that things have been pretty good. But now I'm starting to notice things...like she is telling me things that I have no proof of knowing or just flat out haven't seen. It almost seems like there are bad things always happening to her. This is long if you really want to keep up with it. Currently there are about three guys who are pining after her. One is a druggie who (this is every off hand I remind you) she used to work with and she said she stopped talking to but number is still on her phone. Her 12 year old cousin has supposedly gotten knocked up by this guy. He's 24. My rational response is, "Call the cops." But she isn't doing that. Now, there is no way a 12 year old can give birth to a child without a doctor asking questions. There will be an inquiry. She's 12 and her first appointment is supposedly Monday and the doctor is obliged to call the cops. I would. Then there is this guy who I've met once and know hes a total liar. Still, suddenly after she stopped talking to him cause he supposedly tried to break into her apartment one night (again I said receive a restraining order/police) and after every these months he pops up cause she saw him suddenly where he works. He's texting her again and even tried to cease by one night while I was visiting her and she refused to let me rebuff the guy cause she said she could take care of it. She got a new phone number and even she mentioned she didn't know how he got it. I can't think of anything other than she gave it to him. Finally, there is the husband of her pal who is sending her dirty texts every the time...and that relationship is beyond messed up as it is anyway. Anyway, he wants her and she tells me every this. It's frustrating to be honest. Cause I have no idea what she is doing and there are even long gaps in the day where I just don't hear from her. Not to mention it's seriously messed up (every of the over) and I have no idea to deal with it. To be honest it every sounds so messed up that I'm starting to not believe if any of its true anymore. Finally, she got pregnant a month ago and we lost the baby. It crushed her and now shes talking about wanting to receive pregnant again. Really serious about it. I'm not ready to rush into something like that again. We aren't married and we sure haven't been in our relationship that long for us to do something like that especially rushing into it so soon after. Why am I still with her? Well she is an amazingly sweet and shy girl. We have never fought about anything and we like teasing each other once and a while. We are open to each others tastes even though they don't always match and when we can we have fun. But something isn't matching up anymore... I just got this feeling like shes holding back a lot of crazy. That she's really only telling me her side of the story on every of these situations or anything that happened to her. Or, yeah, she could be lying about some things. I don't know why, but I receive the feeling. I have no way to prove anything. At every. She is hiding something I do know that, but I have no idea what. What's your thoughts?

I know it's wierd as hell but I'd adore to know what you think it. I heard them whispering that in the dark bats claw your eyes and hurricanes rain topaz whales. The radish factory is well hidden beneath the pine trees now and our alarm clocks are every set for 3:05. We are ready for the blaspheming monsoon to toss sand in the kettles, poison the pots and stir up the tin can shanties. This time we won't let Harry's mask slide off. We'll cement it on with good strong glue and wintergreen chewing gum. The blue nice. If only I could find a grand flounder with which to cover my door. It would keep the piglets from assuming the canvas in the kitchen was theirs for the taking. Oh how they bother me with their constant wailing about the state of the stale potatoes in the garden shed. That is where in normally store my canvas, you look, in the garden shed. Now is the time for us to strap tassels to our shoes to help us trample through the briars and shake the peppered lizards from our ankles. In the market they will ask us why we wear the green tassels and not the magenta ones that are in vogue these days, and we will tell them only that green is a good honest color. They will never understand and they will never be prepared for the ice with their stiff wooden mittens and iron laced scarves. Before the season is through, magenta tassels will protrude from their dusty drawers like the bill on a well paid racing duck. Eventually, if things go on like this, we'll every have to empty the plastic pellets from our matresses and sell them to the laundromat. Somehow it makes me unhappy to look them whirling in the soap through the window of the big machine. It reminds me of the foam on your grandpa's necktie, the one he wore to the deli every tuesday when he would go to pick up solar rolls and liver colored kittens. It always snowed delicately with noisy gusts of 13th avenue spiders on those days. It would cause chaos in the corridors of the library as young mice hurried to check out the latest victory only to have their necks snapped. The spiders are gone now, every rather content to crumple over the ceiling tiles with a magazine full of velvety oil stains. They left me lacing up my boots alone with cattail fingers and dandelion eyes. I heard the sparrows crushing the frosted glass with their neon mallets. I reacted promptly, shoving your yellowest raincoat in the cabinet beneath the oven. It is now nearly dawn, a bit tardy for me to be crossing the gaping field of gravel, but the dearest of onions had persuaded me to do so. I saw the washer tardy that day, a wise old witch as she ever was without her curious white pipes. The crickets are running through the refrigerator on the balding sand. Let's build muddy stairs inside a cardboard box in the middle of the road. A snake is standing in the washtub with breadcrumb slippers. They are full of pond water and he's trying to scrub it out with a greased sponge. A mossy blue sponge. A storm commands an army of butterflies, well armed with rakes for tearing out drywall. A tortoise chewed tobacco in a mound of deteriorating birthday cakes. They're waiting for Superman to wrap cocaine in his cape and crawl below the truck, then tweak the wingnuts and welcome the rabbits. He dropped his dictionary in a puddle and it melted."Owl!" He cried. "Owl in the rafters with a box of macaroni!" and the owl drifts away, pencil in hand with a pocket full of feathers. After scraping away the last layers of glue I found myself in a mouldering styrofoam cottage. I realized I would need a tractor to haul away every the missing pieces. I took them to my wicker basket full of shattered limes where Harry used to store the baking soda. There's more but I figured you'd receive bored.

For the past few days, my sense of taste and odor have been off. I can't pinpoint what exactly it may be, but it's just not the usual... And literally everything I eat or drink leaves a horrible aftertaste. Whereas this is typical for some things, such as coffee, they usually have their possess aftertaste. But, in this case, it is the same taste for every substance. It is not a matter of oral hygiene as I have been doing every of the things, every of them, that I am supposed to and no nightly or morningly ritual have changed. Upon googling, the only things I stumbled upon were a. that I have eaten pine nuts? or b. I am pregnant. I know for a fact that I am not with child and am not aware of any pine nuts I could have possibly ingested in the last week. Any suggestions to help or ideas of what caused this, oh great interwebs? whoops, sorry. Wanted to place this in health/body/whatever where it belongs. But Yahoo apparently thought the more appropriate place would be food... Yeah I did repost in the correct area and even left a note here saying i posted here by mistake

we're the same age and we both have a gothy style although i know this sounds rude but I am a lot prettier than she is she is fat, spotty, doesn't wash properly, her hair is dreadful, her breath is bad and she farts like a sewage pipe constantly where as I'm clean, presentable, I always make myself look nice and I never odor. about a month ago i broke up with this guy who i lost interest in because i saw his true colours, he claimed he only liked me but now my pal has just broken up with her bf of two years and the next morning he was round her home they're together which put me in an awkward position because she said he was desperately after her and he didn't really like me he was pining for her for the past few years and others guys have be too, turns out he was after her and doesn't find me attractive at every. dont have a go at me for saying this because i know every of us have thought it at some point or another, why do they chose her over me? she's not pretty, she has the manners of an animal, she smells, she has aspergers and acts like a nut case, she makes problems out of nothing and she's rude and annoys people she's the opposite of me, so why do they pick her? I don't look what the problem is. she used to snog her female cousins face off when she was 10 until about 14 for practice and she was after her second cousins and everything she had the lot of them, what is this? she has had so many boyfriends and so many boys drool every over her and I cannot understand this for the life of me, she's not a slag or anything she will just make out with them, fart every over them and she's even asked them to pop her spots in public... why do guys seem to like this and they don't like normal sane, hygienic human beings? help?! i am being serious btw

I live in a boarding home type of place. I have a shared kitchen - though in my room I have a fridge (takes up lots of space which is annoying!). I have limited floor space - as in 1 meter by almost 2 metres. The furniture pushed up against the walls takes up the relax of the space. It is difficult to sort through my clutter. The wardrobe doesn't have a rail in it so its basically a useless space taking cupboard. Keeping my clothes in the dresser drawer is cluttered as its difficult to look what I have. I have purchased 2 pine free standing shelves which fit well in the room but I am sure I could utilize them better. Any ideas to keep my room organized??? I live here for the week as its cheap but soon will be spending weekends at a family home 25 mins or so away - costs too much to travel into town daily and means I cant do anything in the evenings as final bus home is 5.30pm! So I am stuck in this tiny place for a while - its driving me nuts! Any organization tips would be great. Thanks

About a week ago this little runt came up to me when I was playing basketball in the park with my friends and punched me in the back.( hes like 15 and I'm 13) So I turned around and punched him in the face and I broke his nose and knocked him unconscious for like 5 or 6 minutes. His family hired a Private investigator to spy on me( I'm not sure why). My parents have been gone for a week and are going to be gone for an other week because they are vacation so my older sister is home from collage watching me.3 days ago I brought my 2 German Shepperd's out to go poop in the back yard and I saw the Private investigator the back yard setting up cameras. So I got my bebe gun and shot him in the nuts and then I chased him off with my dogs.As he was running off I threatened to shoot him with my 45 next time he came onto my property.Last night he came back(he didn't take my warnings)Its was around 2am and I head something outside my window.I looked out and saw the Private Investigator on the roof setting up cameras in a tall pine tree(my room is on the 3rd floor of my home)My 45 was locked up and I was to sleepy to receive it.So I got my Algebra Textbook and quietly opened the window when he had his back turned.I threw the book at his head and he fell 3 stories to the throne bushes below.I was to sleepy to call the cops so I went back to snooze. In the mourning I went to look if his body was there but he was gone. So I took his ladder inside and destroyed the cameras with a hammer. We live in a suburban area and the home are like 5 feet apart but I don't think anyone saw this.below Texas state law was this legal?

I can't figure out how to crack these difficult shells open! I tried a nut cracker, but it just decimates the whole nut, as well. Are you supposed to roast or soak and roast till the shells crack?

So I'm new to this whole vegetarian/vegan thing and I have tofu for dinner probably two or three times a week. Usually I just saute it with a variety of fresh veggies and then toss in some unsalted but roasted peanuts/walnuts/pine nuts/pecans and raw diced up apple for texture and flavor variety. I'm getting a bit bored with this routine. There must be more to do with tofu! So do you have any idea for me on how I can give tofu a little pizzazz?

Early this year, around January, my mom had an allergic reaction to peanut butter or toast. The thing is, she's been eating the combination since she was little with not so much as a problem. At the time I was at away at college but she described to me her lip swelling, knots appearing on her legs or arms and her arms itching like crazy. Slowly, she's begun to find out she's become allergic to several foods, every in what seems like an overnight transition. She's now allergic to any nice of nuts (i.e. peanuts, pine nuts, hazel nuts, cashews, walnuts, chest nuts, peanut oil, etc.), soybeans (and other products processed from the soybean) and any other type of bean, dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, etc.), and most products that have gluten (bread, cereal, most breaded foods) and enriched flour. She's also allergic to some ingredient in Big K grape soda, Sunny D, Orange Juice, Apple Jelly from Walmart and Fruit Punch from Tropicana. There are some exceptions though. She can eat every of the food at Red Lobster with no problem. She couldn't drink soy or almond milk, but she can drink rice milk, in tiny doses. She can have things with margarine incorporated, so she can eat cakes and Pillsbury oatmeal cookies. She can drink the Peach Orchard punch from Tropicana as well as the Apple Harvest punch. It's just nice of odd for someone to be able to have any of these foods just 8 hours before, then the next time she ate peanut butter and toast, she has a reaction. She's been to allergist and they don't know why this is happening. She plans on getting a skin test so she can figure out everything she is allergic too. She's become really frustrated and scared to eat sometimes. I ended up having to move back to my hometown and attend a closer university so I could make sure she's alright. My theory is that it has something to do with her getting older. She recently turned 54 earlier this month, but the thing is no one in her family has had any of these allergies. She has one older brother and 4 younger siblings and none of them have allergies. I don't have any of these allergies either, but it does lift a slight air of concern in the back of my mind that I may develop these allergies when I receive older.

Poem #1 Whisper a lullaby, Of short, youthful hours. Unwind. Float softly through the sky, Honey glazed sunshine, warm warning, waning. Breathe. Drifting gently through the pine bristles, Fresh and crisp Air. A torrent of colors sailing down. For every leaf Knows its Fall. Poem #2 Whisper a lullaby, Of short, youthful hours, Howling winds and drifting days. Float softly through the sky. Breathe in flames of nut and smoke and a Honey glazed sunshine, warm but warning. Drifting gently through the pine bristles Fresh and crisp, Airy and light. A torrent of colors alighting on the Frosty ground, For every leaf Knows its fall.

I've got him stocked with some pecans & peanut butter - but worried about his water-drinking situation.....doubt he was still drinking mama-milk, he's not thaaaaat baby of a squirrel (def. young but looks almost full grown, size-wise) but SHOULD I receive A FEEDER BOTTLE to be on safe side!!!!? * also......any tips for boredom/lonesomeness??? not sure how much stimulation they need......

I know that pretty much cuts out everything sweet, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with this nice of thing and would be able to help out with some sweet snacks/desserts that I might be able to eat? Basically, I can have meat, vegetables, pine nuts, peanuts, almonds and spices + salt/pepper. Thank you for your help :) Unfortunately I can't have fruit because of every the natural sugars it contains. My body basically has an infection which feeds on sugars, grains and cereals.

It takes place in a fantasy world..not ours Two twins fall in adore with a man they meet. The girls are opposites of each other, one nice and caring, and one jealous and spiteful. The jealous one is named Kade while the nice one is named Kalie. Kalie is loved romantically by the man, while Kade is simply a pal. Kade becomes jealous of her sister. The days go by and soon the man and Kalie are are engaged. Kada is extremely jealous and mad. She convinces the man to play a game of tag with them. He agrees, with him being "it". The two girls run off together, and Kade leads Kalie to an abandoned part of the forest, and kills her. She then returns and tells the man that Kalie ran off somewhere. He looks days for her but never finds her. Kada tries to seduce him, make him adore her, but he doesn't. Out of anger, she kills him to, and then herself. It starts out with an excerpt from the middle, but it's short. Then it starts from the beginning. I've written out a rough draft for the beginning, and this is it: 'The sun rose high over the sky, shining onto the inhabitants of the planet. Tree's and leaves blew in the faint wind. The odor of pine drifted through the air, as tiny animals searched for nuts and fruits. Birds fed their young, and cared for what was needed. The outer area was peaceful. However deeper in the forest, a girl ran. She ran as quick as she could, stumbling over spare branches and twigs. She panted heavily, her legs feeling like jelly. She couldn't cease- No, it would mean her death. She looked back behind her, trying to spot her pursuer. She saw no one. But in that brief moment, her vision had tore from the ground. She stumbled over a spare root, falling to the dirty, difficult ground. A shadow loomed over her vision, and she trembled in fear. "If I can't have him," The voice whispered, in an ominous tone. "Then no one shall."' Then after that, the actual story would start from the beginning. Your opinions, or corrections for it? What's Bibe?

Every time I eat fried food from a quick food store I receive this bitter taste in the back of my mouth. It is like the oil coats it and for a while everything tastes bitter. After a little bit of time the taste goes away. It is a very recent thing. The last 2 weeks, I even tried going to different quick food restaurants, I tried Arby, and McDonald's, and Burger King. What is the problem? I did read about pine nuts leaving a bad taste in your mouth, but I have never had pine nuts, and this is only when I eat quick food.
